Version 1.0 (free launch) — 2026-11-15

1. Who we are

AI Worksheets (aiworksheets.online and app.aiworksheets.online) is run by Cristian Matias Christensen, a private individual in Spain, NIF Y5486077Q, Passeig dels Platans 6-0, 43205 Reus (Tarragona). Contact: support@aiworksheets.online, phone +34 633 04 37 65. Our other details are in the legal notice.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Cristian Matias Christensen; "you" means the person who uses AI Worksheets.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to everyone who uses AI Worksheets: teachers, students and visitors. The privacy policy explains what personal data we process and how, and the cookie policy what we store on your device.

How they are accepted. Teachers accept these terms when they choose the teacher role, by ticking the box. We keep which version each teacher accepted and when. Students accept them when they create their account or join a class; if a teacher creates the account, the teacher undertakes to tell them the rules of use that concern them (sections 6 and 8). You can read, save and print these terms at any time on this page.

Languages. These terms are available in Spanish and English and both versions are equally valid. If they ever differ, the one more favourable to you applies if you are a consumer. The contract is made in the language you choose in the app.

Your rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.

3. Accounts and roles

Teachers create an account with an email and password, or with Google. A teacher makes worksheets, organises classes, assigns work and reviews results. You must be an adult to have a teacher account.

Students join a class with a code from their teacher, in one of two ways:

  • An account the teacher creates. The teacher enters the student's name and gets a username and password (or a code) to hand to the student. These accounts have no student email. The teacher may add a parent or guardian email. The teacher, not the student, deletes these accounts.
  • An account the student creates from the class link, with an email and password or with Google.

Admins are our own staff. They can see accounts to give support, review reported content, remove public worksheets or library names and suspend accounts that break these terms.

Minors. Many students are minors. In Spain, only people aged 14 or over can consent to the processing of their data themselves (article 7 of Organic Law 3/2018, LOPDGDD). So:

  • A student under 14 should use AI Worksheets only with an account their teacher created, or with the permission of a parent or guardian or of their teacher. A student who creates their own account confirms: "I am 14 or older, or a parent/guardian or my teacher allows me to use AI Worksheets".
  • A teacher who creates student accounts or invites students to a class confirms that they do so as part of their teaching, with their school's authorisation when they work for one, and that families have been informed and any permission the law requires has been obtained.
  • If you use AI Worksheets with students of a school, check that your school allows it: the school is the controller of its students' data (section 7 and annex 2). You, or your school, are responsible for your students' data in AI Worksheets; we process it only on your instructions.

Your account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at support@aiworksheets.online if you think someone else has used your account. Teacher accounts are personal: do not share one between several teachers.

4. A free service: the Free plan and its limits

AI Worksheets is free. Everyone uses it on the Free plan, which costs nothing and never expires. We may offer paid plans later. Before that, we will publish new terms and ask you to accept them, so nothing on the Free plan commits you to pay.

The limits. The Free plan lets you use every feature within limits per day and per month. At the date of these terms they are:

FeaturePer dayPer month

You can also have up to 3 classes (archived classes count) with 35 students in total across them.

AI images and audio are extras. When they are available, you can also create pictures and spoken audio with AI, within a daily and monthly cap the app shows. They are not part of the Free plan: we may change the cap, or pause or stop them, at any time and without notice. Images and audio you already made stay.

How the limits work. The app shows your limits, how much you have used and when each limit resets. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Monthly limits follow your own month, from the day of the month you signed up. When you reach a limit, the app tells you and the feature stops until the limit resets; nothing you made is deleted. When your AI grading allowance runs out, answers that need AI wait for you to grade them by hand; your students are never blocked.

Changes to limits. We may raise the limits at any time. We will lower them only for a valid reason (for example, a significant rise in our AI providers' costs, or to prevent abuse), with at least 30 days' notice in the app and by email. If a lower limit leaves you above it, nothing is deleted or hidden: your worksheets, classes, assignments, student work and grades stay readable, editable and assignable, and what you already used this month stays counted. If you have more classes or students than the new limit allows, you keep them all and can keep using them; you just cannot add new ones until you are under the limit.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; the privacy policy lists what is deleted and what is kept.

A student account created by a teacher is deleted by that teacher, from the class.

6. Acceptable use

Use AI Worksheets only for teaching and learning, and lawfully. In particular, do not:

  • upload or publish content you do not have the right to use, or that is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, discriminatory or harmful to minors;
  • put more personal data about students into worksheets, prompts or uploads than the task needs, or any special categories of data (health, religion and similar) unless the law allows it;
  • try to get around plan limits, for example by opening several Free accounts, or resell or share access to your account;
  • use AI Worksheets to build a competing product, copy it by automated means (scraping), test its security without our written permission, or interfere with it or with other users;
  • use a library display name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or contains an email, a web address or an @mention (the app refuses the last three);
  • use the AI features to create content that breaks the law or the usage policies of our AI provider (Google);
  • repeatedly send reports that are manifestly unfounded.

If you break these rules, we may take the measures in section 8 and, for serious or repeated breaches, suspend or close your account (section 12).

7. Your content, student data and the library

Your content stays yours. Worksheets, files and other material you create or upload remain yours (or your licensors'). You give us only the free, non-exclusive permission we need to store, process, display and copy them to run AI Worksheets for you and your students, including sending them to our service providers (for example, Google's Gemini API to build worksheets and grade answers), for as long as you keep them on the service. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI provider does not either under its terms for our account.

Student work and student data. Students' work belongs to the students. Their school (or the teacher, when teaching on their own) decides how it is used in class and is the controller of their personal data; we process it on its behalf under the data processing terms in annex 2, which are part of these terms. If you use AI Worksheets for a school, you accept annex 2 on the school's behalf and confirm you may do so; if the school prefers to sign its own processing agreement, it can ask us at privacy@aiworksheets.online.

Publishing to the library. A teacher can make a finished worksheet public. A public worksheet is visible to every signed-in teacher on AI Worksheets (not to students or the public web). Before you publish, the app asks you to confirm that you have the right to share the content; we record when you confirmed. Do not publish textbook material or other third-party works without permission, or students' personal data.

The licence you give other teachers. By publishing a worksheet you allow every teacher on AI Worksheets, free of charge, non-exclusively, worldwide and for the whole term of protection of the rights, to view it (with its answer key), copy it into their own account, change their copy, assign it to their own students and print or download it, for teaching only.

  • You can make your worksheet private again at any time: from then on nobody else can take it. The licence is irrevocable only for copies other teachers already made, which are theirs and keep working, as do the assignments that use them. Before your account is deleted, each of those teachers gets their own private copy.
  • You may not use library worksheets from other teachers for anything other than teaching (for example, to sell them) or publish them again as your own.
  • If you made the material for your school and the rights belong to the school, publish only if the school allows it.

Library credits. Taking a library worksheet (copying, assigning or downloading it) uses one of your monthly library takes (section 4) or an earned credit. Sharing worksheets that other teachers take can earn you credits, as explained in the app. Credits have no money value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and end when your account is deleted. We may change how credits are earned with notice in the app; credits you already earned stay.

Your display name. You may choose to show a name on the worksheets you share, and remove it at any time. If you choose none, your worksheets are shown without a name.

8. Reports and content moderation

This section explains how we apply Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act (DSA), to the content we host.

How to report. Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about content they consider illegal or against these terms:

  • in the app, with the "Report" option on a public worksheet or a library name (for signed-in teachers);
  • with the report form, which needs no account; or
  • by email to support@aiworksheets.online, giving: the address (URL) or exact title of the content, why you consider it illegal or against these terms, your name and email address, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your notice are accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt, review the notice diligently, objectively and without arbitrariness, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge it. For a notice sent with the form or by email, the confirmation and the decision go by email to the address you give. If content threatens someone's life or safety, also tell the authorities; we will inform the authorities too where the law requires.

How we moderate. We do not monitor all content before it is published and we use no automated systems to detect content or decide on it: a person on our team reviews every notice. Depending on the case, we may:

  • remove a worksheet from the library (it becomes private and cannot be published again while the removal stands) or, if it is illegal, also stop the copies other teachers made of it from being used;
  • clear a library name;
  • cancel the worksheet's pending library credit;
  • suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches (section 12).

We explain our decision. When we take one of these measures on your content or account, we tell you in the app (and by email when it affects your account): what we did and from when; the facts we relied on and whether we acted on a notice or on our own initiative; whether the reason is that the content is illegal (and which law) or breaks these terms (and which section); and how you can challenge it.

How to challenge a decision. If you disagree with a decision (as the author or as the person who sent the notice), you can ask us to review it by writing to support@aiworksheets.online within 6 months of when we told you, with any arguments you want to add. We will look at it again, without automated means, and reply without delay; if you convince us, we will reverse the measure. You can also refer it to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under article 21 of the DSA (the list is on the European Commission's website) or go to court.

9. AI features and their limits

AI Worksheets uses AI (currently Google's Gemini models) to build worksheets from documents and prompts, create images and spoken audio, check students' written answers and draft grades and feedback. The app shows you which content and which scores come from AI; students see your marks and comments without that label.

AI makes mistakes. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased or unsuitable for your students. Check AI-made worksheets, answer keys, images and audio before you assign them. You are responsible for what you assign and publish.

How AI is used on student work:

  • Your switch. Each assignment has a main switch, "Use Google's AI in this assignment", on by default. When you turn it off, nothing from that assignment is sent to the AI: answers that do not match the key wait for you to mark them, and no AI grade drafts or feedback are made. When it is on, you choose which of the three uses below apply: the answer check ("Suggest a mark for open answers") is on by default; grade drafts ("Draft a mark for the whole submission") and feedback ("Draft comments") are off.
  • AI answer check. If it is on, when a student submits, short and open answers that do not match the answer key you set are checked by AI, which proposes a score and a short comment. These scores wait for you: students see them only after you review and release them, one submission at a time or all at once. Meanwhile, in Practice mode, the student is told that you will check those answers.
  • AI grade drafts. If you turn them on for an assignment, the AI writes a draft grade. Students see it only after you review and publish it, one submission at a time.
  • AI feedback. If you turn it on, the AI writes feedback for each submission, which students see only after you review and publish it, one submission at a time.

Nothing the AI writes about a student's work reaches the student without your review.

You can change any AI score or comment, before or after it is released.

Teacher oversight. AI scores and comments are proposals to help you; the grade is yours. AI Worksheets is made for practice and continuous assessment in class, not to decide on its own about admission, promotion, certification or other decisions with serious consequences for a student. Do not use AI results as the only basis for such decisions: review them first.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep AI Worksheets available and secure, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption: there may be maintenance, faults and outages of our providers. We will announce planned maintenance that may affect you in advance.

Changes to the service. We improve AI Worksheets all the time and may change, add or remove features for valid reasons: technical or security improvements, changes in the law, changes in our providers' services or to prevent abuse.

Closing the service. If we ever decide to close AI Worksheets, we will tell you at least 60 days in advance and give you time to download your worksheets.

11. Liability

We are liable under the law for damage we cause you by breaching these terms or through our fault.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability or the rights the law gives you.

If you contract as a business or organisation (for example, a school or an academy), and except for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, our total liability for any claim related to AI Worksheets is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and €100, and we are not liable for indirect loss or lost profits.

We are not responsible for content that users publish, beyond our duties as a hosting provider once we have actual knowledge of illegal content (section 8), nor for services of third parties (Google, YouTube, Vimeo) that you use under their own terms.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using AI Worksheets and delete your account at any time (section 5).

We may suspend or close an account if its holder seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms (for example, by repeatedly publishing manifestly illegal content), if the law requires it, or to protect students, other users or the service. Unless the urgency or the law prevents it, we warn first and give you a chance to explain, and in every case we tell you the reasons and how to challenge them (section 8).

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons: changes in the law or in the authorities' guidance, changes in our providers' terms, changes in the features of AI Worksheets or to prevent abuse. We will email teachers and show a notice in the app at least 30 days before an important change takes effect, and ask you to accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.

14. Complaints, governing law and courts

Complaints. You can make a complaint by email to support@aiworksheets.online, by phone on +34 633 04 37 65 or by post to Passeig dels Platans 6-0, 43205 Reus (Tarragona). We will give you a reference number and a written receipt, and reply within 15 days at most. On request, we will give you the official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones).

Out-of-court resolution. We are not adhered to the Spanish consumer arbitration system or any other alternative dispute resolution body. If we do not resolve your complaint, we will tell you in writing of a body competent to hear it (for example, the relevant consumer arbitration board, Junta Arbitral de Consumo) and whether we will take part. You can also contact your local consumer office. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025. If you live in Spain, your prior complaint to us meets the prior-negotiation requirement for going to court afterwards (Organic Law 1/2025).

Governing law. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.

Courts. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence, and we can sue you only there. If you contract as a business or organisation, the courts of Reus, Spain, have jurisdiction.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@aiworksheets.online or +34 633 04 37 65. Content notices and DSA point of contact: support@aiworksheets.online. Privacy: privacy@aiworksheets.online. We reply to questions within 3 working days, and to complaints within 15 days at most.

Annex 2. Data processing terms for student data

These terms meet article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and apply when a teacher uses AI Worksheets with students.

  1. Parties. The controller is the school on whose behalf the teacher acts or, if the teacher teaches on their own, the teacher ("the controller"). The processor is Cristian Matias Christensen ("we").
  2. Subject and duration. We process student data only to provide AI Worksheets to the controller while the teacher's account exists and, afterwards, for the deletion periods in the privacy policy.
  3. Nature and purpose. Hosting, organising and displaying student accounts, classes, answers, grades and feedback; checking answers and proposing grades and feedback with AI in the assignments where the teacher leaves the AI on (a per-assignment switch, on by default, with the answer check on and grade drafts and feedback off until the teacher turns them on); syncing grades with Google Classroom if the teacher connects it.
  4. Data and data subjects. Students and, where relevant, their parents or guardians: name, username, email (if the student has one or the teacher adds a guardian's), Google Classroom identifier, class membership, answers, grades, feedback and activity dates. No special categories of data should be processed.
  5. Instructions. We process the data only on the controller's documented instructions, which are these terms and what the teacher sets in the app. If an instruction seems unlawful to us, we will say so. Keeping the service secure and working (access checks, detecting errors and abuse, error reports, logs and backups, for the periods in the privacy policy) is part of these instructions. We do not use student data for our own purposes, except for statistics not linked to any person, and never for advertising or to train AI models.
  6. Confidentiality. People who access the data are bound to confidentiality.
  7. Security. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (article 32 GDPR), including access checks on every request, encryption in transit, encryption of Google tokens, logs with reduced data and our providers' backups.
  8. Sub-processors. The controller authorises us to use the providers listed in the privacy policy (hosting, Supabase, Google, Sentry, Resend), on whom we impose the same obligations by contract. We will give 30 days' notice in the app or by email of any change of sub-processor, and the controller may object; if we cannot meet the objection, the teacher may stop using the service.
  9. International transfers. Only with the safeguards in the privacy policy.
  10. Helping the controller. We help the controller answer data subjects' requests (requests that reach us are passed on), assess the impact of the processing and meet its other obligations, with the information we have.
  11. Security breaches. We will tell the controller without undue delay, and where possible within 48 hours, of any breach affecting its students' data, with the information available so that it can notify it.
  12. End of processing. The teacher can delete student accounts and class data at any time, and ask us first for a copy by writing to privacy@aiworksheets.online. When the teacher's account is deleted, we delete the data as the privacy policy describes, except what the law obliges us to keep.
  13. Information and audits. We will make available to the controller the information needed to show that we comply with this annex and allow reasonable audits, with prior notice and without access to other customers' data.
